    Each product is developed with purpose and thoughtful restraint, using ingredients selected for the role they play within the formulation. Our philosophy is simple: every ingredient should earn its place.

  • No. AREUM products are created for skin, not gender.

    Guardian and Grace may be used by men, women and people of all genders. The most suitable product depends on your skin, preferences and daily ritual rather than how you identify.

  • AREUM products are designed for adult skin at many different stages of life.

    Guardian may suit anyone seeking lightweight hydration and antioxidant care, while Grace may appeal to those wanting greater nourishment, softness and support for the skin’s natural radiance.

Choosing Your Product

  • Guardian is an oil-free antioxidant serum with a light, hydrating skin feel. It is formulated with ingredients including coenzyme Q10, resveratrol, niacinamide, panthenol, green tea, licorice root and hyaluronic acid.

    Grace is a nourishing facial oil formulated with olive-derived squalane, jojoba, meadowfoam, rosehip, camellia, bakuchiol, vitamin E and sea buckthorn seed oil.

    Guardian provides the water-based hydration step, while Grace helps replenish, soften and seal in moisture.

  • Choose Guardian if you prefer a light, oil-free serum or would like to introduce antioxidant and hydrating care into your routine.

    Choose Grace if your skin feels dry, depleted or in need of greater nourishment, or if you enjoy the comfort and ritual of a facial oil.

    For a complete two-step ritual, Guardian and Grace may be used together.

  • Yes. Apply Guardian first to clean skin, followed by Grace.

    Allow Guardian a moment to settle before gently pressing a few drops of Grace over the face, neck and décolletage.

  • Guardian’s light, oil-free texture may sit comfortably beneath makeup. Apply a small amount and allow it to absorb before continuing with moisturiser, sunscreen or complexion products.

    Grace may also work beautifully beneath makeup for some people, particularly those with dry or mature skin. Use only a small amount and allow it to settle fully, as facial oils may interact differently with individual foundations and skin types.

Pregnancy and Breastfeeding

  • AREUM does not currently describe Guardian or Grace as medically proven safe for use during pregnancy, as the finished formulations have not undergone pregnancy-specific testing.

    Guardian contains no retinoids or vitamin A derivatives. However, it contains a number of active and botanical ingredients, and pregnancy-specific information is limited for some cosmetic ingredients. We recommend showing the complete ingredient list to your doctor, midwife or pharmacist before use.

    Grace contains bakuchiol. Bakuchiol is a plant-derived ingredient and is not a retinoid or vitamin A derivative; however, there is currently limited research into its topical use during pregnancy. As a precaution, we recommend avoiding Grace during pregnancy unless your healthcare professional has reviewed the formulation and advised that it is suitable for you.

  • Guardian would generally be the more cautious choice of the two because it does not contain bakuchiol, retinoids or vitamin A derivatives. However, the finished product has not been specifically tested in breastfeeding women, so we recommend consulting your healthcare professional if you have any concerns.

    Grace contains bakuchiol, for which breastfeeding-specific information remains limited. We recommend seeking individual advice from your doctor, pharmacist or maternal healthcare professional before use.

    When breastfeeding, do not apply either product to the breast or nipple area, and avoid any area where the baby’s skin or mouth may come into direct contact with the product. Wash your hands after application and before feeding or handling your baby.

Using AREUM

  • Guardian may be used morning and evening after cleansing.

    Apply it before facial oil, moisturiser and sunscreen. If using it in the morning, complete your routine with suitable sun protection.

  • Grace may be used morning or evening after cleansing and any water-based serum, such as Guardian.

    Warm a few drops between your fingertips and gently press them into the face, neck and décolletage. It may be used alone or followed by moisturiser where additional comfort is desired.

  • With both Guardian and Grace, begin with less and add more only where needed.

    For Guardian, apply a small amount evenly over the face and neck.

    For Grace, two to four drops will generally be sufficient. Applying too much facial oil may leave the skin feeling heavier than intended.

  • Grace may be applied to dry skin, although many people enjoy pressing it over slightly damp skin or over Guardian.

    Applying facial oil after a hydrating, water-based step can help create a softer and more comfortable finish.

  • Guardian and Grace may be incorporated into many existing routines, but compatibility depends on the other products and active ingredients being used.

    When introducing a new formulation, begin gradually and avoid adding several new active products at the same time. If you use prescription skincare, strong exfoliating acids, retinoids or professional treatments, seek advice from your treating practitioner where needed.

Skin Sensitivity

  • Everyone’s skin is different, and natural or botanical ingredients may still cause sensitivity.

    Review the complete ingredient list before use and patch test each product before applying it more broadly. Introduce one new product at a time so you can observe how your skin responds.

    If irritation occurs, discontinue use.

  • Apply a small amount to a discreet area of clean skin, such as behind the ear or along the inner arm.

    Leave the area undisturbed and observe it for at least 24 hours. If redness, itching, swelling, burning or persistent irritation develops, discontinue use.

    A patch test cannot guarantee that a reaction will not occur elsewhere, but it may help identify an immediate sensitivity.

Formulation and Care

  • AREUM formulations contain naturally derived ingredients and are handcrafted in considered batches.

    Subtle differences in colour, aroma or texture may occur because botanical materials naturally vary from harvest to harvest. These variations do not ordinarily affect the quality or intended performance of the product.

  • Keep products securely closed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, excessive heat and moisture.

    Avoid leaving them in a hot car, beside a sunny window or in an environment where temperatures fluctuate significantly.

  • Please refer to the period-after-opening symbol or directions on the product packaging.

    To help protect the formulation, use clean, dry hands, avoid touching the dropper directly against the skin and replace the closure securely after each use.

  • Please contact AREUM as soon as possible through our website, including your order number, a description of the issue and clear photographs of the parcel and affected product.

    We will review the matter and provide an appropriate resolution in accordance with our Returns & Exchanges Policy and the Australian Consumer Law.
