Returns & Exchanges

If something is not quite right, please contact us and we will be happy to assist.

You may request a change-of-mind return within 14 days of receiving your order.
To be eligible, the product must be:
unopened and unused;
in its original condition and packaging;
returned with any seals intact; and
accompanied by proof of purchase.
For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept change-of-mind returns for skincare products that have been opened, used or had their seal removed.
Original delivery charges are not refundable for change-of-mind returns. Customers are responsible for the cost and safe return of the parcel.

Unopened and unused products may be exchanged within 14 days of delivery, subject to availability.
If the requested replacement is unavailable, we may offer a refund or store credit. Any difference in product price and applicable delivery charges will need to be paid before the replacement is dispatched.

Please contact us as soon as possible if your product arrives damaged, is faulty, unsafe or is different from what you ordered.
Include your order number, a description of the issue and clear photographs where possible. Please retain the product and its packaging until we have reviewed your request.
Where a product does not meet a consumer guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law, we will provide an appropriate remedy. Depending on the circumstances, this may include a replacement, refund or another suitable resolution.
A faulty product does not need to be unopened or returned in its original packaging for you to exercise your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Where the product is confirmed to be faulty, damaged in transit or incorrectly supplied, AREUM will cover reasonable return and replacement delivery costs.

Everyone’s skin is different. Please review the complete ingredient list before use and patch test a small amount before introducing a new product into your routine.
If irritation or an unexpected reaction occurs, discontinue use and contact us with your order details and information about your experience. We will assess each matter individually and assist where appropriate.
A sensitivity or change of preference does not automatically mean that a product is faulty. This does not affect any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

As AREUM products contain naturally derived ingredients and are handcrafted in considered batches, slight variations in colour, aroma or texture may occur.
These variations are part of the nature of the ingredients and do not ordinarily affect the quality or performance of the formulation.

Please contact AREUM through the contact form at areum.au before returning a product.
Include:
your full name;
order number;
the product you wish to return or exchange;
the reason for your request; and
photographs if the product is damaged, faulty or incorrect.
Please wait for approval and return instructions before sending your parcel.
Change-of-mind returns should be securely packaged and sent using a tracked postal service. AREUM cannot be responsible for return parcels that are lost or damaged in transit before reaching us.

Once your return has been received and assessed, we will notify you of the outcome.
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method. The time taken for the funds to appear may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

Our products come with consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any rights or remedies available to you under that law.
