Origin

Vitamin B3 is an essential, water-soluble vitamin found naturally in foods and used by the body to support many fundamental cellular processes. Niacinamide, also known as nicotinamide, is the amide form of Vitamin B3 and is naturally present within the body as part of the coenzymes NAD and NADP, which are involved in cellular energy and repair processes.

The cosmetic-grade Niacinamide used by AREUM is produced through the controlled synthesis of beta-picoline, creating a purified, stable ingredient that is chemically consistent with the niacinamide recognised and used by the skin. Its water-soluble nature allows it to disperse evenly throughout a lightweight serum.

How AREUM Uses It

We use Vitamin B3 in Guardian Antioxidant Serum, where it works alongside Coenzyme Q10, resveratrol, green tea, licorice root and a layered blend of hydrating ingredients.
